🚀 From Workshop Attendee to Engineer Machinist Apprentice: Abdi-Jalal's journey is one of resilience and perseverance. With our unwavering support, he secured a highly sought-after Engineer Machinist apprenticeship at the esteemed AMRC Training Centre, part of The University of Sheffield. Through dedication and determination, he defied the odds, overcoming barriers often faced by individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds—barriers like a lack of visible role models in apprenticeships, often overlooked, lack of networks, or finding the application process daunting.
